We simply wanted to tell you about this encounter with Sanaé.
We heard about her while developing the foundation. A little girl, about ten years old at the time, already a model. When we saw her for the first time, apart from her very gentle face, nothing stood out to us. She’s like many children: lively, smiling, full of energy.
Sanaé was born deaf, fitted with hearing aids very early on. And doctors quickly made a diagnosis: Usher syndrome. A condition that affects hearing… and vision.
Today, it’s not visible. But over time, her way of seeing the world could change. It’s hard to grasp precisely because everything seems normal for now.
We met her father, and last year she took part in our inclusive fashion show.
It was beautiful. Powerful.
Since then, something has stayed with us. It changes the way you look at things, a little.
And above all, it makes us want to keep going: creating more projects, bringing people together, raising awareness, meeting other patients, and of course, supporting research.
