It all started back in 2021

When Benjamin learned about his disease in 2019, he was living in Martinique and had to return to France for a series of eye examinations.

Shortly after coming back, he met Clément in Corsica and, a year and a half later, became his first model.
They then lived together in Milan and Barcelona, building a strong friendship and sharing many unforgettable moments.

When Benjamin told Clément about his condition, they spent a long time thinking about how to share his story.
After several months of reflection and preparation, they presented the Horizon Project to a member of the Giorgio Armani team.

The idea was to sail across the Atlantic Ocean with the support and visibility of the brand, to raise awareness about Usher syndrome and retinitis pigmentosa, launch a fundraising campaign, and fulfill Benjamin’s dream before his sight fades.
